Modernism Week in Palm Springs, CA is an amazing event. It takes place in mid-February, when the weather in the desert is prime. Local residents open their homes for walking tours. The homes showcase Mid-Century Modernism design of homes built for celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Dinah Shore and Liberace from 1945 to 1970. Most of the architecture in Palm Spring is original and well-maintained. Vintage American made vehicles can be found throughout the Coachella Valley.
